Delaware Discovery: Exploring Delaware's Natural Areas

Welcome to Delaware Discovery, a project at Delaware Technical and Community College funded by Delaware EPSCoR. Its intent is to stimulate naturalism by connecting outdoor enthusiasts in Delaware with information about the natural features that can be observed in publicly accessible areas throughout the state. In support of this objective, the project has assembled and maintains a database of trail coordinates, photographs, and other ecological and geographical information. This database supports the creation of high-quality maps and hiking guides, as well as other informational and instructional material on the natural communities of Delaware.

Maps

Current map coverage includes the Woodlawn Trustees preserve on the Brandywine and the adjacent portion of Brandywine Creek State Park, on the east bank of the stream.
