Welcome to Delaware Discovery, a project at Delaware Technical and Community College funded by Delaware EPSCoR. Its intent is to stimulate naturalism by connecting outdoor enthusiasts in Delaware with information about the natural features that can be observed in publicly accessible areas throughout the state. In support of this objective, the project has assembled and maintains a database of trail coordinates, photographs, and other ecological and geographical information. This database supports the creation of high-quality maps and hiking guides, as well as other informational and instructional material on the natural communities of Delaware.
Current map coverage includes the Woodlawn Trustees preserve on the Brandywine and the adjacent portion of Brandywine Creek State Park, on the east bank of the stream.

Delaware Discovery offers a number of trail guides highlighting features of interest or natural communities along the trail. These guides are accompanied by maps which can be printed or viewed in electronic formats compatible with Google Earth, Google Maps, or GPS devices.
